The Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance (PGDBF) is a two-year diploma course and is equivalent to masters.
PGDBF program is designed to equip students with comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the banking and finance sector. It teaches students about the operational and theoretical aspects of banking and how to make managerial decisions using a variety of analytical tools and quantitative methodologies.

Students are taught essential subjects such as Principles and Practices of Management, Financial Management, Managerial Economics, Management Information System and Technology in Banking, Banking and Financial System of India, Banking and Finance of the World, Regulations and Laws in Banking and so on.
PGDBF is a 2-year course with a classroom programme and internship or job training.
- The minimal qualification is having a bachelor’s degree in the same field or equivalent discipline from any recognised institute or university with at least 50% marks.
- The minimum age limit is 20 years and the maximum age limit is 28 years.
- Final year students of undergraduate programs who have appeared for their final semester examination and are awaiting results are also eligible to apply. For such candidates, admission is subjected to completion of their bachelor’s degree programme/graduation within the time frame set by ABC.
